The past few weeks have seen the entertainment space clad with rumours and speculations about a certain unrest at the BHIM Nation camp.
From reports of Stonebwoy unfollowing Kelvyn Boy due to alleged acts of arrogance and disrespect to the report that suggests Stonebwoy has allegedly parted ways with his long time manager Blakk Cedi.
Well, Burniton Music Group as we all know has over the past year(s) served as ‘home’ to multi award winning reggae dancehall artist Stonebwoy, Kelvyn Boy and MTN Hitmaker Season 7 winner Okailey Verse popularly known as OV but was it really home to Kelvyn Boy?
According to reliable information available to Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture & Urban Entertainment News – www.nydjlive.com, Kelvyn Boy who successfully released his 8 track Time EP not long go was never signed to Burniton Music Group.
Well, let’s share the scoop with you.
According to our sources, Kelvyn Boy is a product of Blakk Arm Group, an entertainment company owned by Blakk Cedi, the manager of Stonebwoy. This means Blakk Cedi is responsible for the day to day management of Stonebwoy and his very personal artist Kelvyn Boy.
Was Stonebwoy Ever Perturbed?
Considering the love shown, endorsement and massive rallying behind Kelvyn Boy from the first day till the release of his Time EP, it is quite certain that there was a certain agreement to which the parties worked and flourished.
What’s Going Wrong On?
With substantiated reports that Stonebwoy has unfollowed Kelvyn Boy on Instagram, it is quite certain something is wrong somewhere but it is worth establishing that Kelvyn Boy was NEVER signed to Burniton Music Group meaning the parties can go on their separate parts.
What happens to Blakk Cedi?
Do you remember the popular statement right after the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards impasse? “Everyone needs a Blakk cedi in his life”.
Yes, that is exactly who Blakk Cedi is to Stonebwoy but with a level of discord between the artists he manages, would peace prevail? How would Blakk Cedi manage Stonebwoy as well as manage Kelvyn Boy who is signed to his label?
The coming weeks may reveal a lot.
